What we are looking for
IMO, Putnam or national olympiad medallist
- Record — Olympiad or Putnam results, or published problem sets
- Taste — You know when a problem is hard for the right reason
- Rigour — Every answer you write can be checked exactly
- Adversarial instinct — You look for the shortcut before a model does
Work you might do
- Writing original puzzles with verified unique answers
- Reviewing solutions for reasoning, not just the final number
- Attacking the answer checker with degenerate submissions
- Retiring problems once they leak or saturate
